I attended
Hardin High School, where I was voted most likely to succeed, participated in Business Professionals of America, was
accepted into National Honor Society and acquired 1st, State or State Alternate in All Texas Small School Bands, All County
Bands, All District Bands, and State Solo and Ensemble competitions. I graduated 3rd in my class and with Honors in all my
classes.
I then entered
Texas
A&M University with a number
of scholarships. I became an active member in the American Black Belt Academy,
joined the National Black Belt Association and worked at the Texas A&M Math Department as a Teacher's Assistant. I studied
Architecture during class times, and tutored students in Math and Computer Science during the evening and night.
I found my
passion in art and began to do freelance work through out the area. Most were Cosplay (people who dress up as their favorite
characters) paintings and drawings for anime or comic fans, and others were graphic design and architectural work.
Upon my graduation
at A&M, I was accepted into the Art Institute of Houston, where I have been nominated as an Ambassador for the school,
invited to talk at open house to incoming students and gained a National Merit Scholarship for my work. Here at the Art Institute
I have gained even a greater love for drawing and animation and plan to continue my growth in this field.
